Counseling can be done face-to-face either in person (face-to-face counseling) or over the internet by using the webcam (online-counseling).
In personal
face-to-face counseling, we
will be meeting at our office at an appointed date and time, able to use a
variety of body language cues- gestures, facial expressions, posture, and tone
of voice and provide certain therapeutic interventions and exercises.
In Online
Counseling, this facility using internet applications like
Skype, Google talk, etc provides the convenience and privacy of speaking with a
professional counselor from any location of your choice and on mutually agreed
time. Travel time is saved and costs are considerably reduced.
Confidentiality
v Please be assured that all matters discussed in any form, during
the counseling / psychotherapy sessions are dealt with in strict
confidentiality unless required by law to report to the proper authorities.
v Such exception would be, if there is reasonable suspicion of abuse,
neglect, homicide or other health and safety issues.
